Don was a fire fighter for 32 years, 15 as an emergency manager, is a certified Scuba Diver. He is a Photographer as well as being –
CT 3 Incident Management Team member as Planning Section Chief

12 years as Secretary Treasurer of Local 992 IAFF
12 years on Central CT Bowling Association, 4 as President

Don Miner
Don has previously trained and certified in Woodland (Area Search) and Water Search. Don is a 25+ year volunteer EMT and is currently a deputy chief of his local ambulance service. He is a past ski patroller with a certification in outdoor emergency care.
Don has been active in a number of community organizations, including youth soccer, Boy Scouts and Rotary. He is also a member of the Suffield Police Commission.
Don is a financial and cost accounting analyst with a major explosives manufacturer.
Don previously handled Chloe, a Labrador Retriever.
Marilyn Rice
Marilyn has had 6 Therapy Dogs. She has been visiting nursing homes with her dogs since 1990.
